To clarify some of the most common questions

If you’re thinking about starting counselling or coaching, it’s natural to have questions. This page covers some of the most common queries about how sessions work, what to expect, and how to get started. If your question isn’t listed here, feel free to get in touch - I’m always happy to talk things through.

  • The first session is a free 30-minute consultation. It’s an informal opportunity to explore what you’d like to gain from counselling or coaching, ask any questions, and decide whether working together feels like the right fit. There’s no obligation to continue.

  • Sessions can take place either face-to-face or online, depending on what works best for you.

  • Each full session lasts 50 minutes.

  • A minimum of six sessions is recommended to give time for reflection and meaningful progress. We can review this together as the work develops.

  • Each session will cost £60

  • I am an Accredited Registrant with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and adhere to their professional Code of Ethics. You can read more about their standards here: NCPS Code of Ethics
